Safe Families for Children Southern Wisconsin understands that facing life alone as a parent is hard, which is why we connect parents and children with locally vetted volunteers who offer trusted relationships and walk alongside them. We create an extended family-like Circle of Support—including a safe home for children to live in temporarily if needed—that gives parents space to get their lives back on track until they are in a better place to care for their children again.

Our mission is to support and strengthen families facing crisis, prevent child abuse and neglect, and reduce the number of children at risk of entering foster care- ultimately keeping families together.
